Must have been someone else I know who had a valve transplant and they indeed did use a valve from a pig.
Darn it. Wish I could remember who that was now..
On another note , I talked with the hospital Nurse today where the surgery is taking place. She was great. My wife or one person is actually to come inside and wait with me and then during surgery wait in the surgery waiting area.
Only problem I got is that miz micro doesn't do early mornings well at all so its now debatable as to whether she goes with me to the hospital or is just my son in law going to take me and drop me off by the front door. If so, is he going to bring her back whenever its time for me to go home? This is kind of interesting.
I really doubt I am coming home same day as I was in thehospital three days after the spinal fusion surgery and the hip replacement is much harder on ya than that supposedly. Oh well, as long as they keep the post oop pain under control I'll just go along for the ride.
