You've just shown that you know nothing about economics. If GREED dictated prices, then some meat and fish seller would just price his hamburger and tuna at $1 million/pound and retire tomorrow. But that's not how it works. Prices are set where they are because that's as high as they can go without sales losses more than offsetting the price increases. If a butcher raises his prices, it is at the risk of having customers switch to vegetables or buying from a different butcher or eating less or all of the above.
