Nacl, 100 percent correct. spot on. I simply cannnot delay this any longer. I can't use my right leg almost at all and the hip is killing me as well. I delayed this for over three months and that is about the max I can go..

On another note, I am going to check on PLAN B tomorrw at the pre-op with my PCP.

Tehy are with a different hospital group than my Ortho docs. SO, I want to find out IF I really need to spend a few days in hospital if I could be transferred from the one hospital to them ? I will see whatthey say. Just covering my bases.

Ribis,
I wrote down and did almost all the things you were kind enough to tell me about your hip replacement and made preparations accordingly. I have a new power recliner that is extremely comfortable and purchased with me being in it after surgery and it is parked in front of a 50 inch 4K television and there is a bathroom about ten feet from it.

I have a cane, and a new walker already set up in my recovery room here at home. LOTS of large COLD PACKS to apply to the hip and help with the pain.

I have in patient home therapy scheduled and coming as well as a NURSE to check on me.

So I should be alright unless there are complications on the table. I turn it all over to GOD before I ever get rolled to surgery. IF I see HIM I know I am there for eternity. If I wake up in recovery then everything went as it should and I know that the LORD watched over me and gave guidance and skill to my surgeon.

YES, I am a little nervous and I am trying to simply turn it all over to The Lord and trust in HIM to watch over me. There isn;t anything else I can do..

I have a great son in Law who is taking the day off work and driving me there and bringing home. He will take me to my first doctor appt. post op as well. He is a good one..

So it is time for me to exercise some faith and leave it at the feet of Jesus.

Nacl, you are one very astute and smart person. Glad you are able to share some time with us here.

I am calling it a night for the reason NACL stated. I need to get in my recliner with some percocet and get this under control.

Will check in tomorrow y'all after the preop physical.

Later!

micro...
