Assassinations of leaders have changed the world in a serious way: JFK, then Robert, Yitzhak Rabin, his killing in the hands of a religious jew stopped the creation of a Palestinian state and permanent peace there, then Sharon came to power, intifada, Netanyahu, and Palestine is a fkng mess which also fuels Iran’s bs, etc.
History would have been radically different. We would have never had a Nixon, Carter because of Nixon, Reagan because of Carter, so every other president after Nixon is a big question, the Bushes, and topping the list of the pretenders comes Trump and turns America into a raging shithole. Clinton and Obama did not get elected because of their predecessors being assholes, it was a natural progression. Biden was elected because of Trump. Trump was a continuation of the climate from Dubya, Cheney, Ramsfeld, Joe the plumber, etc. and finally a black president set them all off here. From the get go.
A vicious circle that began with the assasination of JFK. Sirhan may be the pivotal changer of world history, not just American of the second half of the 20th Century. He fked us all. He should never, ever be free.
