De
we had 2 and a half inches of snow here at my house last night and still snowing a little yet. Its cool for us to see it because it is infrequent and usually not much...

We can get up to 5 or more inches from time to time but is a rarity. The Ohio River valley tends to keep systems moving further east toward west virginia and the appalachians. Or it can go north on the eastern half of the state toward cleveland area. This system did just that. Parts of cleveland have 20 inches. Lake effect..

Another great reason to not live anywhere near inland seas..

I love the snow. ALways have. Makes a nice change of scenery here and is fun. winter is my favorite season of the year as well. I hate humidity and high temps. I like cold because I can wear a sweatshirt with a T shirt under if it is cold enough. I have my sweat pants on and tshirt and sweatshirt today. Comfy! The 3 year old dog loves the snow. He is 60 pounds and about three feet long. Mostly a Red Heeler with some yellow Lab and a Shepherd tail. Loving animal who loves to play and loves to run with the husky next door..

Re: “Hope you all do not get pounded by this storm..”
The snow will stop this afternoon and I'll tell you then how much fell. My prediction is 3 inches, really not that much. But it's still coming down hard and I could be wrong.

The wind is pretty strong... peaking above 20 mph. But I just heard that Boston will have SEVENTY FIVE mph gusts! Boston is only 2 hours away, so maybe our wind is blowing harder than they're saying.

It's not cold - currently 30° with a high this afternoon of 36°. That might sound cold, but I'll take it. Saturday night fell to -10°, a new record for me, so today's temps feel downright balmy.
