Re: “My prediction is 3 inches, really not that much. But it's still coming down hard and I could be wrong.”
It was more like 6 inches. When I opened the front door, it looked to be a foot, but that was where the high winds had put a drift.

Six inches still isn't a lot, but this was soggy, heavy snow - the kind where every shovel is a back breaker. I pulled out the blower for the first time this season. It can supposedly throw snow 40 feet. Today, 6-8 feet was all it managed. Like I said, heavy.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

Re: “Hope you all do not get pounded by this storm..”
The snow will stop this afternoon and I'll tell you then how much fell. My prediction is 3 inches, really not that much. But it's still coming down hard and I could be wrong.

The wind is pretty strong... peaking above 20 mph. But I just heard that Boston will have SEVENTY FIVE mph gusts! Boston is only 2 hours away, so maybe our wind is blowing harder than they're saying.

It's not cold - currently 30° with a high this afternoon of 36°. That might sound cold, but I'll take it. Saturday night fell to -10°, a new record for me, so today's temps feel downright balmy.
