Its okay De!

You are correct. But I am not concerned. My immune system is very strong. I have bactraban in my nose so it is helping to skill whatever unseen bad things ant to get in if any. I suspect the surgical preop area and surgery Operating rooms are pretty well cleaned. Those are the only things I will be be exposed to tomorrow beisde a brief stop at surgical registration desk on way to the surgery area. NO other people are allowed in there, not even spouses in the hospital. So I am going alone. Its okay...

Then back home hopefully to rest in my recliner.

I have a very good son in law.

See you all after the surgery!

The charts below show what lies ahead for Omicron. The first is South Africa, where new cases peaked on December 12th. As you can see, Omicron is all but gone. Then Great Britain, where cases peaked on January 4th. Finally the U.S., where they peaked on January 16th. In all three cases, the result will be the same.

U.S. cases will be where South Africa's are in about 35 days. February 23rd, give or take 3 days.

I had an endocrinology appointment set for today, but they called an hour ago to reschedule me for Friday. Good. The peak of a pandemic is not a good time to be in a medical facility. (Sorry, micro.) Pushing my appointment back by 2 days isn't a lot, but I'll take it given the dramatic rate at which new Omicron cases fall after the peak occurs. When's your surgery, ribit? You're actually very fortunate. In addition to a later procedure (February?), Georgia cases have already fallen sharply from their peak. The drop isn't so apparent in New Hampshire or Ohio. But you probably already had Omicron, right? Nothing to worry about. In fact, my guess is that micro had it too. He thinks he had the flu. I have my doubts.
