Re: “He tricked the cops who were very close and could determine if he had a gun or not. E en I can tell in tne video it’s mot a gun. The brain is the fastest thing around, it doesn’t get fooled, but they were fooled. Stupid.”

What a joke you are. This guy committed suicide by cop. They shot him because he ABRUPTLY pulled something cylindrical and metal from his pocket and aimed it at the police while assuming a 2-handed shooter's stance. (Watch his left hand move to the "gun.") Any fool knows that you don't do that when a police officer has his gun drawn. (Of course, you aren't just any fool.) The guy held a box cutter in his left hand. The cops were more than 21 feet away - standard procedure when a perp has a blade. As it was, if what he pulled from his pocket had been a gun, he could have gotten off at least one shot before the police reacted. You want to criticize them? Criticize them for waiting too long before firing.

The photos below come from the police video. They took place in the span of about 0.25 seconds.

As is your wont, you've opened your stupid mouth before learning the facts. The man held a box cutter in his left hand and had his right hand in a pocket. The officers fired on him when he made a quick movement with that right hand, pulling it from the pocket and revealing a a shiny, cylindrical object. It turned out to not be a gun, but the officers did not have time to evaluate it before acting. Nine of them decided they wanted to live and fired.

Regarding the sister-in-law who said, “He was shot for no good reason at all and he did not deserve to die." ...

- she's right that he didn't deserve to die. But he WAS shot for a good reason. He made a terminally dumb mistake. He made a sudden movement while cops had guns pointed at him. That's asking for it. Many things in this world, not just cops, will bite you pretty good if you don't use a little intelligence when they're present.

Here again, as is so often the case when I read your posts, I find myself thinking "Stupid just ain't smart."
