But I read this entire article.

At the time I was certain 'H' was being petty and vindictive.

Does anybody really care where these news articles were first collected?

I certainly don't.

But I am grateful that you 'dropped' the links and headlines in here that I might go and read the ones I find interesting.

I said at the time that he was wrong but that I wouldn't explain why because he hadn't asked nicely. I stand by that. If he had been civil and asked whether what I was doing wasn't plagiarism, I'd have told him why it wasn't. But he didn't do that. He was just trying to provoke me and I didn't feel like playing along.

I don't know if anyone here cares, but here's why he was incorrect:

First, no original content comes from NewsAmmo. Not a word of it. NewsAmmo doesn't create article headlines. Nor does it create the URLs that point to the material. I do use NewsAmmo to save time on article selection but I could bypass it and get to the 30 hosts individually, yielding the same results. I may do that one day for fun but it'd take some work. Maybe once I move and have room to spread out for a major program rewrite.

Second, he was wrong when he said I wasn't crediting NewsAmmo. I embed metadata in most of my posts, and the Top 5 posts are not an exception. NewsAmmo is credited via metadata. "H" just didn't think to look there before starting with the name calling. To confirm that I'm doing this, you can either examine the metadata directly or search for the string N E W S A M M O (with a space between each letter since that's how it's listed.) Be sure to click the "Whole Word Only" checkbox when you do the search. The results will be my Top 5 posts and only my Top 5 posts.

When "H" accused me of this offense, it was highly hypocritical. You'll recall that it was he who shared the watchnewslive.tv link with this board. No, I wasn't offended by that. In fact, I was grateful. But it was hypocritical of him to feign outrage and claim I was stealing someone else's original content when he was the one who had told us all how to pirate television broadcasts.

Just sayin'.

Finally, I want to point out that I post the "Top 5" messages for MY benefit, not anyone else's. While it's true that anyone can go to NewsAmmo and see the same headlines, posting them here allows me to get a history of the breaking news, re-read the same articles, and figure out when things happened. If I want to know when myocarditis began to make headlines, a search limited to Top 5 posts shows it happened on May 26, 2021. You can't do that with Google, or even with NewsAmmo since it provides no historic search mechanism and deletes its links daily. I find being able to retrieve old stories useful.

As I said, perhaps nobody here cares. But I said I'd provide an explanation one day and this is it.
