...once upon a time there was only 6 digits in my phone number. This was before area codes and zip codes. There was only three channels on the tv and ya had to put aluminum foil on the rabbit ears antenna to get decent reception. There was more to watch on tv then and there was also no such thing as a robo call. I was comforted by the knowledge that God was real and that he had things well in hand. He played the Bells down at the local church every Sunday morning and evening. I spent many a summer evening listening to the bells and watching the sun go down. Later on we would chase lightning bugs then go inside and eat some fresh biscuits grandma just made. If we had been good all day one of the uncles would make home made ice cream. Nothing that has happened in the last 70 years has been an improvement.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
