...Depends on which leg they worked on. Took me about six weeks on the right leg but when they did the left one it was about three weeks. The difference being the auto transmission. Ya don't want to drive while under the influence of pain killers and ya don't want to be driving when ya has to look at ya feet to see where they at and what they doing. When on pain killer and legs screwed up ya can stomp down on the wrong pedal and wind up halfway thru a store.
...I would predict ya will be able to drive by the time you can get in and out of the car by yourself without falling on yer noggin or posterior. My guess is about six weeks if it's ya right leg they fixed. Practice getting in and out. Use your walker and practice putting it in and getting it out of the backseat.
Just drive extra special careful. Easy Does It!
