It has been a limiting experience being pretty much confined to far end of the house where the family room is located and a large flatscreen with my new recliner/bed.

I have noticed since switching over to streaming that oft times I wind up getting a large circle thing apparently trying to get caught up with the show being watched. I have an Amazon Firestick in this t.v that is way more capable than the t.v. The other t.v which is miz micro's is a Roku T.V. and slightly smaller than my man cave.

It plays all the same streaming she wants flawlessly from the router maybe 25 feet away.
The Router is a Linksys AC1200 dual band router which should plenty more than enough to stream without getting bogged down. I setthe router in an open doorway so the signal was non-impeded going through a hallway and out into the main rooms of the house without going through walls.

On my t.v. I get plenty of circles watching a movie for instance.. Been going on since I made the change.

I have removed the Firestick a few times and rebooted it. That helped a couple times but cannot be the real answer.

I did some research on streaming signals and distances and types of routers that are best suited for disance and square footage so ya have great coverage period.

I also discovered it was best to move up to a newer platform , like AX . Type 6 .

I have reviewed several places for the correct router that would stream with my size parameters and what I wanted.

Seems like the real solution which is NOT overkill appears to be the ASUS WiFi 6 Router (RT-AX3000) - Dual Band Gigabit Wireless Internet Router. Plenty of coverage and great signal strength and brings me up to date. THIS should put an end to the circlular thing waiting for data to get up.

My current router is no slouch but it is several years old now. So when the new router arrives I will get it installed quickly and then update the televisions to the new wireless router and password, and hopefully this solves the delays with greatly strengthened area coverage and signal strength..

Will let ya know after I get it late this weekend...

micro..
