I am with ya 100 percent on that Sire!

May I add one more offender to th elist? Brothers who always want to borrow your tool and never quuite seem to remember to bring them back, or return them in the same condition they took them.

I now charge my oldest brother a deposit on anything he wants to borrow. The last thing he borrowed and never returned was in November when he came over, we went into my shop, he looked at my jig saws, chose one he wanted to use and took it. Early IN january I went to his house to check on his progress. He was finished. He even had cleaned out his garage so ya could actually see the floor. All 20 width of it.

I asked him if he was done with my Craftsman reciprocating jig saw. He asked why I was asking? I told him he had borrowed it a couple months ago and never returned it. Not only does he not remember, but rummaging around his mess he has three others, none of which are mine.. I am more than a little pizzed.

My new policy is he does not borrow anything unless he signs for it and must bring it back within one week..

He also muct leave me 25 dollars deposit to be returned when my tool gets back and is in same condition it was borrowed.

Family members are the worst because they take an awful lot for granted. I love my brother and he is the one I had to tell my parents I would watch over when they were ready to leave this world.. I am the head of the family now and some of the things sis and my other brother call me about I just shake my head and wonder how did they make it this far?

Junior does not have a pot to whiz in. He is 15 years younger, He doesn't listen to people who have succeeded and know how to prepare so he has squandered the inheritance of his wife on bad real estate decisions and lost it all.
I forfeited my inheritance from my parents and gave it to him and my older brother. They do not know that.

I am trying to get them to invest this with my financial planner of over thirty years. They need to make money and grow it.

Anyway, Sire is spot on as most here could likely attest. My wife does not go into my outbuilding. She appreciated the organization and storage but she touches nothing. So for the most part I am in good shape there.

I had a really down day yesterday mentally. The combo of pain from first real P.T. exercises got the wound site rocking and rolling. The therapist is same one I had my last knee scope in mid June of 2020. She remembered me.
She is really good and not young. Tall at about 6 foot 2 inches. Athletic. I am short next to her.

SO I just took my pain med and miz micro is going to help me withe the exercises in a couple minutes.

I received my new book from Dr. Weirsbe on Nehemiah because I wanted one additional perepective and another set of viewpoints he sees comapred with the three other men of God I have read and studies as well as my own.

I feel so honored to help train and edify newly saved men in other lands to learn and understand God's Word so they can become the Pastors to the people there who have heard the missionary tell them about Christ and HIS Salvation He freely offers to all who would repent and by faith believe in HIM.

So I am off and running.

Greeting to you all and may God give you a wonderful and blessed day! It is the Day HE has made !

micro... Very Happy

Septuagenarian makes startling discovery!

...that's me, the Septuagenarian. Means I am between 70 and 79 years old. I just wanted to improve the vocabulary of my loyal followers. Anyway, I have made yet another startling discovery

Men don't lose stuff. They do before they is grown up, get their own place to live and their own tools, but not after that. It's a guy thing. We know where everything is and exactly where we left it. Every missing tool can be traced back to teen age sons who don't have their own tools or women who often go into our offices or shops and just move stuff around just to be ornery.

Think it's not so? Deep down inside ya know I am right. Ya familiar with that angry feeling ya get at the wife / girlfriend when ya can't find your Router? Deep down inside ya know she either borrowed it or just moved it so that once ya needed it and couldn't find it ya would have to go to her for help. She will walk in the room / shop / office and put her finger right on it. Coincidence??? I think not!!!
