beinning to to take small steps without putting weight on the walker on my right leg and new hip. I was told I could put as much weight on it as I could tolerate.

So I am now kinda shuffling through the homestead as much as possible and building up leg strength . I would rather do this than all those P.T. so called exercises. I do them but hate hate them. I really do not see the point or purpose in most of them. Seems to me that gradually increasing load bearing on the hip on right leg and exercising the entire leg by walking (shuffling) thru the estate (lol!) would be more beneficial.

As usual I have cabin fever and am coming around enough now that I want to be active again.

I am stretching out the time interval between pain med doses and go all night without any.. Plus it has been reduced in strength to 5-525 oxycodone (percocet) and it helps without making me feel weird.

So, I am getting better and regaining gradually strength. I think most of my energy initially was spent on healing which the you cannot even tell where that long incision is at. That's pretty impressive. I gave my Orthopedic Surgeon whom I have known 3 decades a very positive review as he deserved and his PA's are world class. They really are like having an MD attending to you. They are the ones who discovered the seized in place hip and uncovered the mystery of my right leg that three other orthopedic doctors did not. Needless to say I will never see them again for any reason. They simply did not want to be bothered. I don;t know why they do not get out of medicine as they apaprently are realy not interested in helping people.

SO I am still trying to regather strength amd stamina but doing well in the recovery aspect and begining to use the right leg to stand and walk on at about 75 % body weight..
