Of course, until Trump entered the White House, the daily visitor logs were part of the public record. If you go to the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, one of the displays that they have is a set of 'binders' for each month that Clinton was president which contains the daily activity diary. These pages show everything that happened each day, including who visited the White House and with whom they met. In fact, while Obama was President, I think the White House posted that information on-line where the public could see who came and went.

BREAKING NEWS

President Biden, rejecting Donald Trump’s executive privilege claim, is ordering the release of White House visitor logs to the Jan. 6 panel.
Wednesday, February 16, 2022 7:00 AM EST

In a letter to the National Archives, a White House counsel said Mr. Biden had rejected Mr. Trump’s claims that the visitor logs were subject to executive privilege and that “in light of the urgency” of the committee’s work, the agency should provide the material to the committee within 15 days.
