True for most of us. You'll remember that I fell down the stairs a few weeks ago. Fortunately, I didn't sever the Achilles tendon like I originally thought, and my foot made a speedy, 90% recovery. At this point it's still tight but that's a lot better than I had any right to expect. I hope you recover just as quickly.

Stairs and ladders have got to be the most dangerous things around most people's houses. We need to keep that in mind from now on and be TRIPLY careful.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

Not a good day. I took a head first fall with my walker going down the one step down into my sunken family room/man cave at the end of the house off the kitchen and formal dining room.

Yep. head first dive this morning. Can't believe it.
I think one of the back legs (glides) of the walker did not clear the floor surface so when I went to put weight on the handles as the walker was about to set down on the Den's floor the rear leg threw it off at an angles and away I went and the walker. Fortunately I did not land on the walker or my hip. I landed stomache down for cushioning with my famous right hand and left hand extended to break the fall. LAST time I did this on my patio in an ice storm and went up having surgery on my right arm to repair it.

Something is wrong with my ring finger on right hand but I don't know what. It seems to work but hurts like crazy especially the joint. It does not want to stick out straight ahead like the other fingers either.

The good news is I do not believe the HIP is damaged. It hurts but I do not believe it is damaged or it would really hurt like right when ya wake up from the surgery and the Nerve blocker and pain killer has worn off.

I have sent a note to my sugical team to see what they think or if they want me to come in Monday to get checked out. I would feel very comfortable with doing that.

I am somewhat apprehensive yet do not want to go toa strange hospital and ER where they do not specialize in HIP replacements and do not know me. SO I will just take a little more pain med and wait until tomorrow..

Dang it.. I was making progress on walking almost normal. I never will do that unless my knee gets replaced because I cannot stand on the right leg with knee straight or weight on it.

Anyway, its been a long and not so good day. My new 8 inch tablet just got here and it is charging. This way I can stay in my recliner in my man cave and not have to go use my office computer to go online. Cell phone is too small to really see the board or type anything.

Wonder if the ring finger is just "stove" ? Beats me. It just hurts a lot in the main joint...

Catch you guys later. I am my own worst enemy at times.. Doggone it....
