has any idea what the long term side effects of

USSR broke apart, there was an agreement that if
Ukraine gave up all the nuclear weapons they 'inherited'
Russia promised not to invade them. Back while
obozo was President Russia stole the Crimea and
tried to steal Donbas . . .

did not try to annex anything.
As for Russia and China - China is ascendent and Russia
desperately needs to expand its tax base - if they do
not want to be eaten by China.
