We’ve owned this boat for 8 years and have lived aboard full time for 4 years. We had a sailboat before. Sailboats are to much work. I’m an old man. Our trawler is just turn the key and go. We cruise up and down the east coast following the sunny days. Last year we spent the summer in the Chesapeake bay and the winter in Vero Beach & Stuart, Fla. year before spent winter in S Carolina and before in the Bahamas.
Where in Florida are you? We’re residents of Fla now. No longer Virginia I’m actually thinking about buying something in Fla. maybe a condo, or maybe a boat slip. Or maybe a condo with a boat slip.
I like West Palm Beach.
I've heard about your boat! I'm envious - I have a condo near the ocean in Florida, but a boat sounds a lot more safe right about now! How is that going?
What have you learned during your waterworld adventures? Any advice if I wanted to get a boat with a little bit of escape potential? Is a sailboat viable as an escape vehicle?
