I’m not sure being on a boat is the best prepped decision vs land based.
On the boat you need to rely on society to get fuel and food.
But you can travel many places and ya can hideout pretty easy.

On land your stuck in that location
But you can grow food & hunt to feed yourself and cut wood for fuel.

I think we'd have to go all-in on that that kind of life ... which isn't going to happen. In terms of prepping, CTJ's choice may ultimately be the better one.
