I'm pleased that Jussie was taken away by the guards and that he is beginning his sentence immediately - because he'll obviously be appealing. But even if some liberal judge overturns the verdict or lightens the sentence, Jussie won't be un-doing his time in jail.

The judge also did a great job of wrecking Jussie's reputation. If Jussie had any integrity whatsoever, he'd have felt humiliation over thqt. But the exhibition he put on at the end showed us that the man feels no shame. I'd call what he did 'doubling down.'
