It is a shitty county. If you have to renew your car’s registration past a certain period you have to go to the ….tax collector which here is called the “Constitutional Tax Collector.” What the fk is THAT? They are too almighty and full of shit. Trying to get the inspector to come for something you already paid and got a permit for means you have to go to town and get some bullshit paper called a commencement form, which you have to pay for at another building, AFTER you go to the town clerk building to notarize and certify the papers, which you bring back to the permit office you started with. in another building, It is down right Byzantine, and maintains lots of people working, and nice huge courthouse where there is no parking other than for employees with a gate.
I almost threw up in the woman’s face after all this but didn’t because she laughed when I told her “lots of jobs being maintained here it seems”.
In general, FL is a shithole. You should see what they did with the email voting stuff after Death Santis proclaimed the 2020 election in FL was “Perfect.” I just wanted to move my registration from one county to another. Let me not get into that because it will ruin my afternoon.
