Who else?
Of course. Not that the price of gas had not gone up before the war, but it exploded once the war started. Not understanding Putin is to blame for the much higher prices is stupid. The gas where it was before Putin was the result of DEMAND in a ROARING economy growing at 7%, more than China’s. You can’t go from a dead economy to this one and expect stuff to cost the same, especially since supply chain had to be improved, and it’s not us but the whole world having issues. Gas prices were low in 2020 because no one was driving. Anyone take a look at traffic in the US these days? Empty roads vs. gridlock.
We were dealing with all that, and then Putin popped up like a turd on the surf. The rate of inflation slowed in February, so were on a downward trend, then …..Putin.
