There is now no doubt that unless you have a variant specific vaccine, you’ll get infections from the vaccinated too as well as those who’ve been sick before. The fact that you can get REINFECTED is proof that covid vaccines will not totally prevent infection. They save a lot of people though from hospitalization and death, especially the most vulnerable. And it’s not only that but long term covid for some.
THEREFORE, it will be like the annual flu vaccine as this thing mutates, unless they are able to come up with a vaccine that will work for all mutations, which is going to be hard if not impossible in my view. The otjer possibility that it attenuates over time and becomes like a common cold is a better option, because that would allow life to resume to normal, no masks, no distancing, etc., but that is to be seen. Till then, POPE cretins will cower behind their keyboards in fear posturing and trying to explain their fear away with rationalizations about side effects and other baloney.
It is clear after all this time where we are going……..and it is very iffy.
