I think we need to start, and keep, a SOLID list of Chicken-Hawk politicians who over-eagerly support warmongering. They all need to be removed from office and put under an ongoing financial microscope. Where there is smoke, there is fire.
If someone actually served in the military IN A COMBAT ZONE where they ran a real risk of taking a bullet (as opposed to an “officer” job with a desk), I am inclined to give them SOME benefit of the doubt -- they might have suffered PTSD, which clouds their judgement and recollection of the Founders' advice.
Similarly, if they are willing to pick up a gun and get air-dropped behind enemy lines and come out alive, I would consider giving them some benefit of the doubt.
Otherwise, when people push to escalate foreign wars and military-industrial boondoggles they are corrupt without exception -- and take them out with the trash.
Can you imagine McConnell, Graham, Romney etc. being forcibly given a gun and other basic front-line tools and being parachuted behind enemy lines ... so they can PROVE they have sufficient skin in the game?
And how can we, repeatedly, look the other way, not recognizing how antithetical this whole thing is to the US Constitution and the Republic?
We could clean up the country in a hurry if we'd just pass a new Amendment requiring all politicians who vote for foreign wars to go and serve, immediately, on the front lines of an active war.

Getting back down to earth...we are not going to get a better way to ferret RINOS out of the closet than watching their war vote.
I have come to realize that men are not born to be free. Liberty is a need felt by a small class of people whom nature has endowed with nobler minds than the mass of men. -Napoleon
