I like the idea you listed for Crimea! to me it is a plan that is neutral and leaves the ultimate decision to the people of Crimea and thus it is not a political motivated idea. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Personally, I don't think what Putin would consider a 'reasonable compromise' would be acceptable to any sane peoples.

As for Crimea - Allowing Putin to keep it is also unacceptable (to me). I would not mind seeing Crimea become an 'independent country' for a year then have the populace of Crimea vote whether or not they want to be :
.... 1.) Re-united with Ukraine.
.... 2.) Re-united with Russia.
.... 3.) Or remain a new independent country.

And I don't care about Putin 'saving face'. I want his face drug through the mud till he recognizes that such barbarous behavior as he has been indulging in is not acceptable to the rest of the civilized world.
