I guess it makes sense that people like you who only get information from political propaganda sites would be hopelessly ill-informed. Nobody is getting Covid-19 anymore.

Around here, a few grocery store shoppers continue to wear masks, but no more than 10%. Over the course of the pandemic, we had a stretch of perhaps 4 months where almost everybody was wearing them. They were mandated at the time. Aside from that period, most people here did NOT wear masks. Most don't like them. Most know they don't work. Once President Trump's vaccines were available, stores removed their signs or posted that masks were no longer mandatory and that was that.

I never made much use of masks. The evidence was clear from the start that, aside from surgical masks which nobody wears, masks make little difference. I challenge you to find a reputable, double-blind study that concludes otherwise. Masks are just a crutch to help the feeble-minded majority feel safe. Studies incentivized with supporting masks concluded they help "to some degree" - which really means "to a tiny extent." There's just as much reason to think they don't help at all.

I know some people who caught Omicron and reported being sick with it for 6 weeks. I don't particularly want that. Six weeks is a long time to be laid up with anything - but I was never so stupid as to think that masks mattered. Fortunately, the disease has run its course and, mask or no mask, I won't be getting Covid-19.

Unless a new variant comes along in a big way, the pandemic is over.

Soooo, as you wrote, tik tok tik tok tik tok... BZZZZZ! Time to wake up, zz. The world has moved on, the disease is gone and you're still dreaming that the detested Popers are going to get sick.
