Very good, OCU. You're a veritable font of wisdom... for the few who frequent clo's and zz's little board. Of course, you could have known this about the vaccine and enlightened the Pffart4 morons more than seven months ago if you'd been reading the Pope board. I posted on August 16th that 'I do know that "vaccinated" individuals who are infected but symptom-free generally have the virus in their nasal passages in the same quantities as "unvaccinated" individuals. That suggests to me that they can definitely be spreading it.' #msg-1186593

Despite your post, even now you've got some learning to do. You assert the greatest value from vaccinationn isn't "necessarily the total prevention of ever being infected"?? LOL. What a misguided, deluded statement THAT is. The vaccine doesn't prevent getting infected AT ALL. Read up on how it works. It builds up antibodies in the blood. It does ZILCH to prevent infection in the sinuses. And the respiratory tract/sinuses are where the infection begins. The SARS-CoV-2 spike binds to ACE2 receptors most prevalent in peoples' nose, esophagus and lungs. That's why the first sign of illness... reliable enough that doctors use it to assess newly admitted patients... is usually the loss of the sense of smell.
