FDA authorizes a 2nd Covid booster shot for people 50 and older
The Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday authorized a second booster dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech and the Moderna Covid-19 vaccines for adults ages 50 and older. The move comes as fewer than half of those eligible for their first booster shot have received one.
