My Charlie was the runt of his litter and last of 8 pups left. We were lucky to have gotten him. when they grow up they are not "runts" anymore so if he is adorable he's the one for you.

Charlie is extremely intelligent as a herding dog and also very affectionate. I hope you guys get much joy from your new member of the family like we did.

Congrats on the new arrival !!!!!

Re: “Take them ALL !! You could have an entire new family and plenty of acreage to keep them all occupied ! lol!!! They are so cute and adorable!”
The thought has crossed my mind, believe me, but no. I'd be overwhelmed by NINE dogs!! In fact, it's been my experience that if you have two dogs in a house, they bond with one another instead of with "their" people. I won't make that mistake. If I one day get a second dog, it'll be much bigger... a guard dog... and will probably have its own small (but warm) house OUTDOORS. Sounds a bit cruel, but that's how they keep sled dogs in Alaska, right?

The dog we're getting tomorrow is intended to be a family member. It should bond first and foremost with US.

They're definitely cute and adorable. Among the boys (since I prefer male dogs), I especially like the two to the left and the "runt" in the back. The runt looks much smaller. It might just be an illusion - the dogs seem sized by their proximity to the camera. Is it a coincidence or is the camera lens making the closest one seem larger and the furthest seem tiny? Maybe the "runt" is bigger than he looks. Hopefully he's getting enough to eat and is healthy. He's bright eyed and seems wonderfully attentive.
