One has to be hard hearted to not love puppies!

He's adorable! He don;t care what ya call him as long as its not late for feeding time! Laughing

He will be a good age in summertime when ya cantake him out romp on the property with you guys! Mine loves me to take him out of the fenced yard and behind us where there are currently 26 acreas of cleared grassy fields.

Likely in the near future that will become more residential homes.. But for now Charlie loves to go run to his heart's content and smell everything in that field..

Studebaker will love it also...

Re: “HAPPY Saturday morning! Hows the new family member????”
He's doing well. Eleven pounds when we got him. Thirteen now.

He keeps us up nights. About every two hours, he needs to go outside to relieve himself. Kinda like ribit. For a couple of days, we've had rainy or windy weather. He's not a fan of either, and that leads to unproductive trips outdoors.

Thursday night he peed on the floor a few times and pooped once. He's done a good job of training his people, though, and they've gotten a lot better at scooting him outside before terrible things result. Friday and so far today, no accidents!

We've spent a lot of time since getting the mutt trying to find "the perfect name." Unfortunately, whatever I like, my wife hates. Whatever she likes, sounds sorta fay to me. We lowered our standards a bit and decided we'd better start calling him SOMETHING other than "Hey, dog!" or "Nameless." We already had "Stuart" on our short-list and started leaning toward that. I observed that the name lends itself to numerous offshoots including Stu, Stewie, Stupid (!!!), Studious, Stupendous, Studly and STUDEBAKER.

Whoa, we both liked that last one! So... without giving it much more thought... Studebaker was unceremoniously declared the winner. But it's a long name so we're mostly still calling him Stewie or "Hey, dog!" Here he is sleeping in his pen...
