Re: “My cascabella peppers have not hatched yet.”
I haven't yet had much luck with peppers. But I'm learning. It seems that most pepper seeds take a very long time to sprout (up to 4 weeks) unless they're heated. I'm also seeing that the longer peppers take to germinate, the greater the chance that they do poorly. One site says:

"Place the planted seed trays onto a seedling heat mat and set the temperature to 80°F (27°C)." ... "If you don’t have one, place the seeds in a warm location, like above the refrigerator. Light is not necessary for germination."

I don't have a seedling heat mat. Nor do I have space in my little house to be growing different plants in different fashions. So no peppers for me this year. Next year may be a different story if my space situation changes.

I got five baby brandywine tomato plants (started from seed.)

And one 'Parkers' growing outside. (Store bought with some size to it. Hoping it don't get frosted to death.)

I also bought six little ichiban eggplants.

My cascabella peppers have not hatched yet.
