Re: “Why isn’t violence against a black man just as important as the violent actions of a black man?”
I don't think she's condoning what Will Smith did or minimizing what happened to Chris Rock. She's just saying that "This is our business. You white folks shouldn't be talkin' 'bout it."

She doesn't seem to understand that, while America's blacks have been trained to obsess over their skin color, those who aren't black saw a PERSON make an ass out of himself in a very public way. Such folks aren't criticizing and laughing at blacks. They're criticizing and laughing at Will Smith.

She can't do that. She doesn't see Will Smith as a person. She sees him as a black.

If she identified principally as an individual, she wouldn't be offended when the behavior of a person with similar skin coloring is criticized or reprimanded.

I am amazed in this incident that nobody is noticing that Chris Rock is also black. Why isn’t violence against a black man just as important as the violent actions of a black man?
