Joe Biden is seriously considering ‘forgiving’ student loan debt.
Nothing says you’re desperate and trying to bribe people to support you during the upcoming midterms like making taxpayers who are already struggling under crazy #Bidenflation foot the bill for debts other people took out and simply don’t want to pay back.
If Joe does this it won’t play out well because clearly, they are underestimating how much this will piss people off who have already paid off THEIR loans … like Kassy Dillon.
Kassy Dillon (@KassyDillon) ~ I just worked my butt off to pay off my very expensive student loans a few months ago. If Biden forgives student loans, I’m going to be livid.
Oh, and trust us, it won’t just be Kassy who is ‘livid.’ Not only those who have paid off their loans but parents who worked and saved their whole lives to pay for their kids to go to college … why should THEY pay for someone else’s kids to go?
Apparently, Valerie Bertinelli thinks people who have already paid off their loans opposing paying for someone else’s loans via their tax dollars is ‘selfish.’
Valerie Bertinelli (@Wolfiesmom) ~ [Replying to @KassyDillon] Tell me you’re selfish without telling me you’re selfish.
Wow, Valerie ... tell us you're a brain-dead bitch without telling us you're a brain-dead bitch, dearie.
Valerie thought this was a smart tweet. Yeah, yikes.
There’s a reason she spent most of her career reading the words someone else wrote for her.
This didn’t go over so hot for the aging sitcom and Foodnetwork star.
Tim Troy (@Troy_Tim) ~ [Replying to @Wolfiesmom]
She’s confused. Very very confused.
No ... Valerie isn't confused ... she's stupid.
Vin (@VinceGottalotta) ~ [Replying to @Wolfiesmom] Easy “I don’t want to part with my own money. So someone else should have to pay off my student loans for me.”
That sounds sorta selfish, right?
Fuzzy Chimp (@fuzzychimpcom) ~ [Replying to @Wolfiesmom] Pay my mortgage and car loan. Also, throw in an extra $100,000 because I’m sure you’ve got it. Otherwise, you’re selfish.
DO IT.
The fact Democrats are only talking about student debt tells us they think young people are dumb enough to fall for their pandering.
Ok, so some old people are too (ahem, Valerie), but normal, everyday middle America will hate this.
Captain Caveman (@BenHardee) ~ [Replying to @Wolfiesmom] How is selfish? I paid my loan off, my wife is almost done with hers ... it wasn’t/hasn’t been easy but we worked hard and set goals. If the Feds just decide to wipe out this debt in order to pander to voters, how the hell is that fair or just?
It’s not.
Rebeccah Heinrichs (@RLHeinrichs) ~ [Replying to @Wolfiesmom] “Pay off my debt.” There you go.
She thought this was a good response when people starting calling her out:
Valerie Bertinelli (@Wolfiesmom) ~ I’ll never be wealthy enough to not pay taxes. So, you see, dear, I am one of those “taxpayers covering the dumb decisions of others.” I have an idea though, how about we get tax dodgers (*coughmultibillionaires) to actually pay their fair share. http://twitter.com/mjasandoval/status/1519440074194096129
Hey, Valerie ... the wealthy, which most certainly includes you, by the way, use the provisions within the tax law to minimize their taxes - AS THEY SHOULD. If you do not, then you are even stupider than I think you are. Here are some statistics for you from 2018:
Top 1% - 21% of income earned; 40% of income taxes paid
Top 2% to 5% - 16% of income earned; 21% of income taxes paid
Top 5% to 10% - 11% of income earned; 11% of income taxes paid
Top 10% to 25% - 21% of income earned; 16% of income taxes paid
Top 25% to 50% - 19% of income earned; 10% of income taxes paid
Bottom 50% - 12% of income earned; 3% of income taxes paid
(Source: IRS)
So, the top 25% are paying 88% of the total income taxes, which is already awfully "progressive," as it is. BUT, if YOU believe that YOU are not paying YOUR fair share, then by all means, make additional contributions to the U.S. Treasury ...

... or if the "plight" of student debt holders is more your concern, then get out your considerable checkbook, Valerie, and pay off someone else's student loan. Otherwise, SHUT. THE. F*CK. UP.
Clueless about why Kassy is really mad.
That figures.
Vince (@VinceCz) ~ [Replying to @Wolfiesmom] Taking responsibility for one’s actions is far from selfish. 🙄
𝙽𝚘𝚝𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝙱𝚎𝚎𝚜𝚠𝚊𝚡 (@NotcherBeeswax) ~ [Replying to @Wolfiesmom] Yes, you're very generous with other people's money, rich person.
How that makes you unselfish, and those that worked two jobs each like my wife and I to help our kid through college without debt selfish is bullshit on steroids.
On steroids. Yup.
Dr. (@DiegoLTortoise) ~ [Replying to @Wolfiesmom] Nobody is stopping you from voluntarily paying off someone else's student loans.
Seriously.
Valerie, write some checks. Show us how unselfish you really are.
Carlos Toraño (@catorano) ~ [Replying to @Wolfiesmom]
Joey (@serveitcold) ~ [Replying to @Wolfiesmom] It’s not selfish to expect people to fulfill contracts they agreed too.
Dancing Al Czervik (@AlCzervik6) ~ [Replying to @Wolfiesmom] Tell me you want more inflation without telling me you want more inflation.
Tell us you’re too stupid to know how any of this works without telling us you’re too stupid to know how any of this works, Valerie.
