It was last week that the head of the DHS’s new Disinformation Governance Board introduced herself on Twitter, saying this is what she’s been up to for the previous couple of months and why she’d been so quiet on Twitter. The whole idea of a Disinformation Governance Board came out of nowhere, and red flags rightfully went up.
As Twitchy reported earlier, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas testified before the Senate Wednesday and fielded a number of questions about the “Mary Poppins of disinformation” and new Minister of Truth, Nina Jankowicz. Had he seen her bizarre TikTok videos? No. Did he know that she had vouched for the veracity of the Steele dossier? No. How did she get hired? Mayorkas wasn’t saying.

Yeah, Mayorkas is an incompetent moron, but let's be honest, he does have competition for the title of "most" in this administration - Transportation Secretary Buttgigged, Energy Secretary Granholm, Secretary of State Blinken, and Defense Secretary Austin come immediately to mind.

We didn't find out til 2 days after Elon's bid was accepted and Mayorkas figured it would be outed they're working with social media platforms. Who knows how long it's actually been running.

So she’s been working on this for a couple of months, but the board hasn’t actually met yet and there’s no documentation. Mayorkas just decided one day they needed a Ministry of Truth and Jankowicz said she was an expert on disinformation, which is true in a sense.
