Today's BBQ Brunch/lunch (tritips I hear) at our sin in laws, with his parents, 3 of the grandkids, is another rider of all of us missing our daughter. She was the ultimate Mom, from birth, through a lot of work with the LeLeche groups wherever she was when the girls were young, Long Beach, St Louis, Pensacola, Vancouver/Portland, and we chased her around to stay tight with the girls.. They're now married, the elder has been staying with us since Friday, head back to Monterey this afternoon... Be good to see the crew, the youngest grandson is headed back with the inlaws in Carson City for a couple weeks, has a school project set up to volunteer at a shelter kitchen, part of growing up... One I do not recall ever happening when I was coming out of HS...
So a toast to all the Moms!! We wouldn't be here without 'em!
