The good news is Bill Maher acknowledged on his show on Friday that, in fact, Europe has much more restrictive abortion laws than the United States and that, in fact, most pro-lifers in the United States are women.
The bad news? Bill Maher had no idea before this week that Europe has much more restrictive abortion laws than the United States and that most pro-lifers in the United States are women.
Oh well?
Danny Tarkanian (@DannyTarkanian) ~ You guys see Bill Maher last night?
Me neither, but it turns out he did some research and learned that we have some of the LEAST restrictive abortion laws in the world, and that most pro-lifers are WOMEN.
Soon nobody will be on the Left but the crazies.
Watch it for yourself:
Robby Starbuck (@robbystarbuck) ~ This week Bill Maher learned European countries have far more restrictive abortion laws than we do in America and that women report being pro-life more often than men. How many people have no clue about this or about fetal pain science? If they did, some might change.

And here’s the transcript:
Bill Maher: Alright, so, people hate talking about abortion, so let’s do it. I don’t want to do it, but it’s the big issue and we got to do it. And this is what happened. And you know, it’s interesting because until this memo was leaked and we found out that now unless something very unforeseen happens, the Supreme Court is going to undo Roe vs. Wade after 49 years. We haven’t really been focusing on it. Or maybe I’m projecting, I guess I haven’t been enough. Because I learned things this week because this put it on the front page that are pretty basic things that I did not know about abortion. Like in Europe, the modern countries of Europe — way more restrictive than we are or what they’re even proposing. If you are pro-choice, you would like it a lot less in Germany and Italy and France and Spain and Switzerland. Did you know that? I didn’t know that.
Michelle Tafoya: I didn’t know that.
Bill Maher: Right, okay. I learned most people who are pro-life are women. Did not know that.
And if Maher wasn’t aware of these facts — a professional pundit with a weekly show discussing these important issues — how many Americans are aware of them?
Cernovich (@Cernovich) ~ LOL - while it’s gratifying to see information I put out educate the public, the real problem is how little people know about any of these issues.
This also means libs are losing:
Carl Paulus (@CarlPaulus) ~ Whether guns, same sex marriage, drug policy, abortion, you can usually tell which side is winning by the losing side saying “did you know that actually ...”
Yep. And just wait until Roe is overturned and there’s not nearly the outrage about it that libs are expecting:
Buck Sexton (@BuckSexton) ~ The “abortion rights” lobby is built on a foundation of euphemisms, lies, and outright evil, which more and more people are finding out now that the “constitutional right” fabrication is fading away.
Because that’s next.
