Between the two 'Gulf Wars' there were a number of news articles detailing the multitude of ways in which saddam was trying to 'acquire' WMD's. The 'Kamel chicken farm' story is just one of them.

Perhaps. But it also smells a lot like a 'left wing demo-rat talking point'.

Post invasion over a thousand chemical weapons were recovered in Iraq. I also remember a story about some fairly new empty chemical warheads found in Iraq. I shared it with OCU - who tried to tell me that 'those empty chemical warheads are not really chemical weapons because they are empty'.

Also, do not forget that there were several months between the time we announced our intention to invade Iraq, and the actual invasion. During which time there were rumors of truck convoys - probably removing WMD's and other assorted goodies from Iraq.

GWB wanted Saddam Hussen killed because Hussein had tried to kill GWB's daddy some years before. It was personal. All the stuff about al Qaeda was spin to justify what GWB had decided to do before he even became President.
