Only 34 percent of independents in the United States approve of how Joe Biden handles his job as president, a recent CBS News/You Gov poll revealed.
The poll found that 66 percent of the 653 independent respondents disapproved of Biden’s job as president.
The poll, taken from May 18 to 20, found that overall from all the 2026 respondents, only 44 percent approved of the president’s job performance compared to 56 percent who said they disapproved. ...
If only 34% of Independents supposedly approve of Biden's job performance, then how the hell is it 44% overall???!!! Because, we all know that approval by Republicans is far below that of Independents. Obvious answer: this is a CBS poll, so they way oversampled Democrats. And ... again, since this is a CBS poll ... the REAL percentage of Independents who approve of Biden's job performance is far more likely to be 25% at best. The internals of this poll show that 81% of Democrats approve of Brandon's performance, which I strongly suspect is fudged, as well.
