This board is comprised of highly intelligent participants, varied experiences and ages, and even more interesting is that we all have "things" that are more near and dear to us as individuals but can all learn from observations and writings of others..
I have been enightened by the posts.
In my opinion only what bothers myself most is a tyrannical government which is becoming more and more tyrannical and expressing willingness to punish those who do not go along with their socialist agenda, and the fact that its my own damn choice about what I drive, when or if I want to spend MY MONEY on a vehicle and WHAT KIND of vehicle, instead of being herded like cattle into NO CHOICES.. against my will..
That said, I believe there is a place for EV's for those who actually want them..
Before that gets forced and jammed down our throats, I would suggest the DICTATORS spend some time and money on electrical supply infrastructure to produce electric for the homes, hospitals, factories, businesses that are shut down every year due to BLACKOUTS from the horrible grid we have..
Let's not add nationalized charging stations which will coost every taxpayer more money every year whether we like it or not due to the GREEN movement which is mostly BS..
I have NO IDEA what it costs to service a TESLA, a VOLT, or a Hyundai Ioniq 5 or whatever else is out there...
I don't think I want to find out...
s far ass oil deposits are concerned, can we spell ANWAR?
Or BAAKEN ? There are many more pools besides these and we have discovered that they all are NOT on the dry ground.. Hence the RIGS in the oceans.
We are not going to run out of oil or be able to refine it anytime soon unless it is intentional by the puppet masters.... I had this discussion about oil deposits a few years back and noted several of them what in themselves would last 100's of years.. So I disagree with the idea that we will run short and I am too old and not willing to go back and pull up all that stuff again..
I have learned some things from the back and forth points and information and my thanks to everyone who added to that discussion both pros, cons, and in between!! I hope I never stop learning or the desire to investigate things I do not know..
I am very busy the rest of this weekend so I may not be around with the graduations and parties and family coming home I have not seen in years. My daughter in particular and her youngest son.. Can't wait to see how he has grown and see my baby girl the attorney again. She is staying with us for several days and Miz Micro is readying her bedroom....
