picking up my daughter who is flying home from Virginia Beach at the airport late this afternoon in rush hour no less.
She is bringing along her youngest who is 4 years old so we get to visit with them a few days and hope that our grandson remembers us. They will be staying at our home and is coming to see her Neice who has graduated and has her party Saturday.. That would be my granddaughter the all city all star softball player... (can you tell I am very proud of her?) She really is that good. NOBODY has stolen second base on her all year in both Elite travel ball team AND High School team which is BIG SCHOOL competition. Her release time on the throw to seconod is 1.5 seconds from receiving the ball from the pitcher.. THAT is a new ohio high school record and better than all the colleges in Ohio also. By a lot. So she is great defensively and has plenty of power in the bat...
I can't wait to watch her play College ball at Cedarville University, a D2 Christian University who plays half their games against D1 schools and wins, and the rest against other D2 teams..
So its a great weekend to be with my daughters and grandkids.. This is the JOY and the arrows in the quuiver spoken of in the Bible as we grow older..
It is all true.. Happiness and joy are found as we get older in our children and grand children...
