Indeed they do. I know a field of them at a certain university my grand daughter will be attending in a couple of months and it is an eyesore.. What a waste of real estate.. I have a neighbor across the street that is young and stupid.. He decided to have a bunch of solar panels put on top of his roof. Half of the roof.
About five months and one winter later he had them all taken down and hooked back up to the natural gas and electric service.. I can't help but wonder how much money he wasted..

I'm trying to say that solar panels are NOT the answer to America's energy needs.
I also forgot to mention that solar panels have a HUGE footprint. As in it takes up a LOT of real estate to make enough electricity to help power the grid.
