Well, today I rang the bell:

June 2022 (Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max)

I've completed my nine weeks of radiation treatment for my prostate cancer. I see my Urologist in a month and the Oncologist in three months. At that time they'll do a couple of tests which will give them at least some idea of how I'm doing. Also, I'll have to continue the hormone replacement therapy for another 12 to 18 months. Only then will they be able to give me a definitive prognosis as to whether we've beaten this or not.

Also note that today is our wedding anniversary. Barb and I have been married for 55 years. We're going out for dinner tonight with our youngest son Daniel and his girlfriend Denise (it's also her birthday), who's been staying with use since just before I started treatment, to help out if things got dicey. Fortunately, I got through this without a lot of side issues, so I guess I'm lucky but it was good that he was here as he helped with some issues around house and he did some running for me and his mother. Anyway, they start back to Michigan on Monday.
