Apple employees in Maryland vote to unionize, a first for the tech giant in the U.S.
In a company first, a majority of employees at an Apple store in Towson, Maryland, have voted to join the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, the union announced Saturday. Apple has so far opposed unionization of its stores despite "growing demand," the union's president said.
