The AZ democrats of Pima County Arizona are holding a F**K the Forth "celebration" at Reid Park in Tucson Arizona on July the 4th. And Arizona Senator Mark Kelly and his wife Gabby Giffords will be in attendance. Most likely speaking.
The Arizona Democratic Party reacted quickly once it was called out by Republicans for promoting its “F-ck the Fourth” event on social media.
On Twitter message, @PimaDems, tweeted “F*ck the Fourth. See you at Reid Park, with an image calling for members to “mourn with Fuck the Fourth.” On the group’s Facebook page, told friends: “July 4th. We are not celebrating until we get our independence back.”
The Party removed the messages, and Democrat candidates made no mention of it, in the hope the issue would blow over.
Needless to say, it did not blow over, and Republicans from all across Arizona called the Democratic Party and a number of its higher profile candidates out for it.
