Ribit is waking up with a new artificial knee that he can actually walk on when he heals a bit.
The pain is very strong from this surgery as I watched my own wife ten years ago go thru this.. She had no choice.
With strong enough pain med to help and the nerve block she got thru it but it was tough.. She normally deals with pain much better than me.. But then again, she gave birth to our children as well which is not exactly easy..
So, please keep Ribit in your prayers for recovery and that the pain will controlled. He is not a spring chicken and a few years older than me.
These kinds of replacements are very hard on older people. If we were ten or fifteen years younger they would be easier to endure but they are still very tough..
