The Frog King mentioned something about Fentanyl in a post from Wednesday ...

"Pain! They gave me a BLOCK prior to the surgery and I overheard the anesthesiologist discussing the use of Fentanyl. I don't know if they were talking about giving it to me or using it themselves. Told me it would last about 36 hours. I feel worse now than I did when I came out of surgery."

Hopefully, it's not Fentanyl, which is dangerous stuff. I would think Percocet (i.e., Oxycodone) would be much preferable.

"The greatest difference between Oxycodone and Fentanyl is the potency of each drug. Both drugs provide similar effects but to much different degrees. While Fentanyl is as much as 100 times stronger than Morphine, Morphine is 1.5 times stronger than Oxycodone."

Ribs HALF a PILL of WHAT. What was the Pills strength? I am assuming its percocet but they could have prescribed a lower strngth and you taken a whole pill instead of trying to cut one in half.. That's crazy.. Wow...
