While you’ve been busy trying to make adjustments to your monthly household budget in order to account for growing increases in the prices of basic goods and services, you may not have realized how good you actually have it. At least when it comes to gas. It may feel like you’ve been spending a lot more money to fuel up your car than you did even at this time last year, but it turns out that you’ve actually been saving about $50 a month.
At least according to White House Director of the National Economic Council Brian Deese, who took to CNN earlier today to share the encouraging news:

Hey, DeeseNuts ... I was paying less than $2 per gallon when the dementia patient you call "Boss" was inaugurated, you dumb f*ck.
Boy, we Americans just don’t know how good we’ve got it under this administration!
Mike (@mikecphotos66) ~ How are you saving when it is high to begin with?
Speaking of things that are high:
Rachel Tendrich (@malm_xoxo) ~ What is he smoking?
Whatever it is, we hope he’s not doing it near any gas pumps. Wouldn’t want to cause an explosion.
