Apparently, New Yorkers & Californians are ingenuous simpletons.
First, a man publicly - PUBLICLY - assaults the Republican nominee for NY Governor on a campaign stage with a sharp object, is arrested, but is very quickly released on his own recognizance. Bunches of people saw him assault Rep. Lee Zeldin ... here's a photo:
Second, two young men - Jose Zendejas, 25, and Benito Madrigal, 19 - were pulled over in a California traffic stop and were found in possession of 150,000 fentanyl pills (street value estimated at $750,000). They were arrested, booked, classified as "low risk," and released on their own recognizance.
Well, guess what??? Neither Jose Zendejas or Benito Madrigal showed up for their court date. IMAGINE THAT?!
Ya think Zendejas and Madrigal might well be in Mexico, right about now?!
