This has been in development for many years. It probably has a long way to develop before the full ramifications hit the US. So it may, or may not, come on as a tidal wave. It may, instead, manifest as one "economic emergency" after another, after another, or even in some other form (like an ever DECREASING quality of choices in the stores).
But it's a monumental signpost—and it will likely reduce YOUR net wealth and purchasing power by 20-50% over the coming decade, depending on how, exactly, you are independent of the US economy and the US government and the US banking/regulatory system. And it will compound, and negatively accrue, almost certainly reducing the US standard of living, and overall US world-ranking, until we reach 2nd tier status.
As I said some time back, Russia already WON the Ukraine war; and the US /NATO paper-tiger hegemony lost. It was off-the-chart STUPID to weaponize SWIFT and the US petro-dollar to deal with Ukraine and Iran etc. We used our weapon. It was a dud. Well...actually it did work...it just blew up in our faces, and now we will pay the price in spades.
