Fiz > Hmm? I'm not sure I get your point. You SEEM to be saying it isn't rational to not buy something because you don't like the CEO/profit-beneficiary of a fictitious entity aka corporation?

My point is that with true capitalism, one has multiple options.

Don't like Musk? There are other manufacturers of electric cars out there.

Don't want to buy Kellogg? I buy General Mills cereal. Or Pepsi instead of Coke.

The original article headline was "Capitalism makes it hard to feel good about buying almost anything". And then I get into the article and find this :
>>>
At this point, becoming a Republican is like joining a war against the rights of women and Black, brown, and LGBTQ people.
>>>

Starting with the headline the entire article was designed to induce the left wing fruit cakes into believing that 'their rights' are under attack and they MUST act as obnoxiously as possible towards Republicans and folks who do not believe the garbage they want to believe.

Didn't you recently post a link to an article pointing out that the 'liberals' don't give a darn about any of the things they speak of - they just want their partisans to believe they MUST fight against the 'right'? The article I linked to and posted snippets from is a prime example of that.

Hmm? I'm not sure I get your point. You SEEM to be saying it isn't rational to not buy something because you don't like the CEO/profit-beneficiary of a fictitious entity aka corporation? But that is perfectly rational. I won't buy ANYTHING touched by Google for substantially the same reason; heck, I am resistant to buying a product which even ADVERTISES with Google...or Facebook.... I increasingly shun anything made IN China, I don't care if the company is purportedly "American".

But maybe that is not what you are meaning??
